I really like the Katana as well, complete with one of the few examples of lens-flare i think looks in place.....
the rose on the clothing looks really good as well, really captures the texture of silk (which i assume it is meant to be?)
the left boot is about the only area i can see that could be improved, although i think ~jmcc has a point about the fingers as well.....
great work, keep it up.
I agree that the background's kinda plusungood, but I like the clean, finished look to the drawing itself. Her clothing folds very nicely, too. Something seems off about the hand holding the sword, though, mainly between the first and second fingers.
